DGP80‑C Dry Pellet Feed Expanding Machine

Why DGP80‑C

Dry extrusion lowers utilities and simplifies installation while ensuring stable expansion and neat pellet ends for aquafeed and pet food.

Dry‑Type, No Boiler

Lower CAPEX and footprint; simple utilities.

Stable Expansion

Controlled temperature & residence time → uniform density.

Clean Discharge

Optimized die + cutter reduce fines and tailing.

Flexible Formulas

Floating/sinking aquafeed, pet snacks, R&D labs.

Quick Change Dies

0.8–12 mm with fast changeover kits.

Safe & Compact

Interlocks, overload protection; small footprint line.

Performance & Utilities

Typical output

[450–1200 kg/h] depending on formula and die.

Main motor

[37–55 kW] AC; VFD recommended for fine control.

Pellet size

0.8–12 mm round; optional shapes via die kit.

Utilities

Electricity only (dry type). Compressed air optional for cutter.

Temperature

Barrel zones target [135–180°C] (by recipe).

FAQ

Dry vs. wet extruder — what’s the difference?
Dry type (DGP80‑C) doesn’t need a boiler. It’s compact and low‑cost to install. Wet type with pre‑conditioner can reach higher throughput and PDI on certain formulas.
Floating or sinking pellets?
Both are possible by adjusting moisture, temperature, die compression and cutter speed. We’ll share starting recipes for your targets.
What spare parts are recommended?
One extra die plate set, cutter knives, screw/liner wear kit, belts and bearings. We can ship a 6–12 month starter kit.
Power and voltage?
Main motor [37–55 kW]. Voltage customized to your region (50/60 Hz). VFD recommended.
