Why DSP90-B

Steam conditioning increases retention time and moisture, improving PDI and starch gelatinization for stable pellets.

Steam Conditioner

Uniform moisture & heat → high PDI.

Stable Expansion

Controlled residence time & temperature.

Clean Discharge

Optimized die + cutter reduce fines & tailing.

Flexible Formulas

Floating/sinking aquafeed, pet snacks.

Quick Change Dies

0.8–12 mm with fast change kits.

Hygiene & Safety

Interlocks, overload; easy-clean doors.

Performance & Utilities

Typical output

[1,200–3,000 kg/h] by formula, steam & die.

Main motor

[160–220 kW] AC; VFD recommended.

Pellet size

0.8–12 mm round (shapes optional).

Steam demand

0.2–0.4 MPa, dry/saturated; traps & valves.

Temperature

Conditioner [80–95°C]; barrel [120–180°C].

Materials

SS304 contact options; wear-resistant screw/liner.

Note: Results depend on formulation, moisture, residence time and die compression.

Conditioner & Cutter Options

Conditioner

Single-layer standard; dual-layer upgrade for higher PDI.

Liquid dosing

Oil/enzymes pump set; fine control of addition.

Cutter assembly

Adjustable knife speed; quick-release hub.

    FAQ

Wet vs. dry extruder — what’s the difference?
Wet type with steam conditioning reaches higher PDI and better starch gelatinization; dry type is simpler and lower CAPEX (no boiler).
    Floating or sinking pellets?
Both possible by adjusting moisture, temperature, die compression and cutter speed. We’ll share starting recipes.
    Recommended spare parts?
Extra die set, cutter knives, wear kit for screw/liner, belts and bearings. 6–12 month kit available.
    Steam requirement?
Dry/saturated 0.2–0.4 MPa; traps & valves required. Boiler optional.
